ENVIROMENTAL IMPACT

"I first want to start this page by acknowledging, no fashion brand is ever truly sustainable. The production of clothes will never be good for the environment, but recognizing ways to reduce overconsumption, match fabric with garment lifecycles, and promoting garments that are designed to last a lifetime, we can help change the way we consume to better help the environment in the long term."

Production

Ethical sourcing- Using manufactures in NYC we are able to closely regulate that all employees are making fair wages and are working in safe work environments!

Zero Waste- We design and cut our fabric very consciously in order to maximize the materials and reduce the amount of scrap fabric produced. On top of that all scrap fabric is held onto to build one-of-a-kind garments and accessories so no fabric is wasted.

Fabric- We do not use an organic textile for a multitude of reasons. While this may seem shocking for an environmentally conscious brand it is due to product longevity. Natural textiles have a much shorter lifecycle than synthetic fabrics and do not have some of the key features necessary for our timeless pieces to last your whole life (wrinkle resistance, standard washing). So, while we aim to build a fully organic textile down the line our long-term environmental costs out ways the production impact.

OUR PRODUCTS

Deadstock- Our custom garments are all made from deadstock fabrics that otherwise would have been sent to the landfill. We give them a new life as luxury wear!

Overconsumption- Unlike most brands, we design with the intention of our customers purchasing a few products that are meant to last and be worn over and over rather than constantly buying new. We aim to help reduce overconsumption in formalwear, rather than a constant cycle of spending.
